I can’t believe that I waited so long to try making almond butter at home. It’s such a simple, easy process and the result is 10x’s better than any almond butter purchase at the store!
It’s also pretty cool to add different flavors to your homemade nut butters — like I did here with Chocolate Pecan Butter.
Hmmm, I’m thinking we whip up a batch of Grain-Free Flat Bread, spread a generous serving of Almond Butter on top, along with a few mashed berries (or fruit-only preserves) and have ourselves a delicious, comforting snacky-snack
3 cups roasted, unsalted almonds
¼ teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Blend all of the ingredients in a food processor until creamy. This can take up to 10 minutes, so when it doubt continue to blend, blend, blend. Enjoy!
