Pesto is a delicious way to dress up pizza, noodles, eggs, meat, and vegetables.
¼ cup Walnuts
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 cups fresh basil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
¼ cup nutritional yeast
¼ cup Powdered Greens
1 teaspoon sea salt
⅓ cup olive oil
Toast the walnuts in a dry skillet until golden.
Combine all of the ingredients, except the olive oil, in the food processor and pulse until combined. Drizzle in the olive oil as you continue to process the pesto until it has the consistency of paste – don’t over blend.
Store your pesto in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Enjoy!
