Want to eat cake and lose weight?
And what if this cake only took 5 minutes to make from start to finish?
And I should mention that it tastes AMAZING!
I’m so excited to share this new guilt-free dessert recipe with you, but before we dive into the recipe I’d like to remind you about the importance of getting enough protein in your diet.
How do you know how much protein to eat in a day? A good measure is to eat the same grams of protein as your goal weight. So let’s say your goal weight is 130 pounds, you would eat 130 grams of protein each day.
To meet your daily protein goal, it’s helpful to use TRULEAN’s high-quality protein powders in delicious and satisfying protein shakes that taste just like dessert - such as the Rich Dutch Chocolate Whey Protein that I used in this Chocolate Fudge Mug Cake…
It’s the perfect answer for your chocolate craving! For the best flavor and texture be sure to use TRULEAN Rich Dutch Chocolate!
1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon coconut flour
1 tablespoon granular Swerve
¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
pinch sea salt
1 tablespoon Lily’s stevia-sweetened chocolate chips
Lightly grease the inside of a large, microwave-safe mug with coconut oil. Mix all of the ingredients, except the chocolate chips in a small bowl until smooth. Drop the chocolate chips into the bottom of the mug, then top with the cake batter.
Microwave for 1 minute. Check for doneness. If it looks liquid then microwave for 15 additional seconds. Turn the cake out onto a small plate. Top with some confectioners swerve and enjoy immediately!
Don’t try this recipe with vegan protein - it simply doesn’t turn out the same! The vegan protein absorbs more liquid and so the consistency will be off!
