Mmmmm, Creamy, Sweet Italian Soda!
This summertime treat is fun and memorable....BUT traditionally it is PACKED with sugar.
By using EVERYDAY FIT, my favorite vitamin-enhanced super water, I was able to come up with a version of Italian Soda that is not only LOW in sugar but is extremely HIGH in satisfying, sweet flavor!
Enjoy this low-sugar treat all summer long :)
1 cup water
1 cup frozen strawberries
2 scoops Fit Fruit Punch EVERYDAY FIT
1 cup almond creamer
2 cups sparkling mineral water
Whipped Cream (optional topping)
4 ripe cherries (optional topping)
Combine the water, frozen strawberries and Everyday Fit in a skillet over medium heat. Bring to a simmer for 10 minutes.
Mash the fruit and pour the syrup through a sieve. Set the syrup aside to allow it to cool to room temperature.
Pour ¼ cup syrup in a glass, pour ¼ cup almond milk creamer and top with sparkling water. Top off with whipped cream and a cherry if desired. Enjoy!
