Why purchase blanched almond flour at a premium when you could simply (in 7 seconds!) blend it yourself? This is the most simple thing ever! And I apologize for not posting it sooner…
For almond meal, simply use raw, unsalted almonds instead of the blanched almonds. Almond meal will turn out a big darker in color and your baked goods will be slightly heartier — it can be used interchangeably with blanched almond flour. Enjoy!

It’s also fine to use raw, unsalted almonds with skins on, this will give you almond meal, a heartier version of almond flour that is darker in color.
1 cup raw, unsalted, blanched almonds
Place the almonds in a high speed blender or food processor. Blend on high for 7 seconds. Scrape down the sides and if any whole pieces remain then pulse again for a couple more seconds. Now turn on the oven and start baking something tasty…
