About

My 14-yr-old, Andrew, is growing at an alarming rate.

He surpassed my height at the age of 12 and now towers over me and has to bend down to give his mama a hug.

Suffice to say the boy is ALWAYS hungry. He discovered protein smoothie bowls at a local juice shop and it has quickly become his favorite snack.

This weekend I tried my hand at blending up one of his beloved smoothie bowls and was quite pleased with the results. If you have frozen fruit on hand, along with protein powder and some nut milk you could quickly and easily blend up your own smoothie bowl at home. And the flavor possibilities are endless!

Serves 2

2-3 frozen bananas, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces

2 tablespoons Unsweetened Cacao Powder

1 cup almond milk

2 tablespoons natural peanut butter

Topping Ideas

Granola

Banana

dark chocolate shavings

Directions
1

Blend the smoothie ingredients until smooth and serve in a bowl - top with your choice of toppings and enjoy immediately!

Quick Tip

I love using TRULEAN PROTEIN in this recipe!
