Double Chocolate Cookies

Double chocolate cookie recipeThese are the most chocolatey cookies that I’ve ever made…and presumably the most awesome 🙂

What’s so great about this Double Chocolate Cookie recipe is that it only uses simple, wholesome ingredients like pecans, egg, unsweetened cocoa powder and dates. We aren’t even going to use any flour in this fudgy cookie recipe! And while the ingredients are certainly not like that of traditional cookie recipes, the result will truly knock your socks off and have you reaching for another one!

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine all ingredients into a food processor and mix until well blended.
  3. Roll out golf ball size cookies and place on the prepared pan.
  4. Bake for 12 minutes

    Thank you for all these yummy recipes.
    I tried these yesterday.. i love chocolate, but these had a chalky taste. Followed recipe as listed. What adjustments should be made? I live in Colorado; could the altitude be part of problem? Thanks!

      Hi Jeanie,
      I suspect that the cookies were cooked a little too long. Try reducing the oven to 325 and bake for 8 minutes. Let me know how that goes!

    I didn’t realize I was supposed to press down on the cookies on the cookie sheet on my first try. The recipe does not say this, so I left them spherical like golf balls when I put them in the oven. Then I went back and watched the video which said to flatten them out a bit. They look yummy – can’t wait to taste them!
