These are the most chocolatey cookies that I’ve ever made…and presumably the most awesome :-)
What’s so great about this Double Chocolate Cookie recipe is that it only uses simple, wholesome ingredients like pecans, egg, unsweetened cocoa powder and dates. We aren’t even going to use any flour in this fudgy cookie recipe! And while the ingredients are certainly not like that of traditional cookie recipes, the result will truly knock your socks off and have you reaching for another one!

1 cup Pecans
12 Dates, pitted
¼ teaspoon sea salt
1 egg
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup dark chocolate, roughly chopped
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine all ingredients into a food processor and mix until well blended.
Roll out golf ball size cookies and place on the prepared pan.
Bake for 12 minutes.
