Easy Salad Dressing

easy healthy salad dressing

This simple dressing has a nice tangy flavor!

Salad dressing is one of those things that are easy to fall into a rut with. Like your Starbucks drink or the entree you always order at your favorite restaurant. Same old, same old.

Let’s be honest, bottled salad dressings from the shelves of your local grocery store are not the healthiest option when it comes to topping that gorgeous, green salad you just made. You took the time to put quality ingredients into the salad – fresh, organic lettuce and vegetables – so why douse it with a cocktail of chemicals, preservatives and artificial flavors? Your salad deserves more than that kind of treatment. And your taste buds will be really happy too… 🙂

The Salad Dressing Equation

Stop buying salad dressing from the store. Immediately, this minute. Store bought dressing is filled with harmful and toxic ingredients, so let’s avoid it. Here’s the equation for a wholesome, homemade salad dressing:

3 parts high quality oil
1 part lemon juice or vinegar
dash of sea salt and fresh black pepper
a few Tablespoons of fresh or dried herbs

fresh herb dressing

Fresh herbs add wonderfully aromatic flavor to homemade dressing.
