How do you dress up a juicy grilled piece of organic, grass-fed steak?
Douse it with this rockin’ homemade steak sauce, of course!
I knew this recipe was a winner when B put away his favorite store-bought steak sauce after tasting it :)
½ cup Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
8 Prunes or Pitted Dates
¼ cup coconut aminos
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
½ cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons homemade ketchup or 1 tablespoon tomato paste
½ teaspoon sea salt
dash of ground cinnamon
1 packet stevia
Throw all of the ingredients into a high speed blender. Blend until smooth.
Pour the sauce into a skillet and heat to a low simmer, mixing often.
If you prefer a thicker sauce, add ½ teaspoon of arrowroot starch.
Remove from heat and serve.
