A lot of folks are getting the picture that our dairy consumption is too high.
But without cheese to sprinkle on top of food, what are you left with?
This cheese substitute has a nutty, cheesy flavor and is really easy to make.
1 tablespoon coconut oil
½ cup Pine Nuts
½ cup Pecans, chopped
½ cup nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon sea salt
In a small pan heat the coconut oil. Add the nuts and saute them until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly then pulse in a food processor until finely chopped.
Place the nuts in a bowl and mix in the nutritional yeast and salt.
