Here’s a super quick recipe for dark chocolate covered figs — aka Caveman Candy. Dried mission figs are packed with natural fiber, vitamins and minerals. It’s not often that candy offers you those benefits!
5 0z. dark chocolate - 72% cocoa or higher
30 dried mission figs
Cover a plate with wax paper and then set aside.
Melt the chocolate over very low heat, stirring constantly — or use a double boiler.
Grab the figs by their stem and dip into the melted chocolate. Place on the prepared plate.
Once all the figs have been dipped, place the plate in the fridge for a least 20 minutes.
