About

Fresh, organic fruit is the tastiest, most flavorful dessert you’ll ever try…but some days also require chocolate!

This simple, decadent treat brings you the best of both worlds: juicy fresh fruit and dark creamy chocolate.

With the overabundance of fresh figs, coming from my in-laws backyard, I’ve had to get creative on how to serve up a platter of fresh figs. Dipping them in some dark chocolate did the trick! The family devoured these wholesome candies so quickly I barely got my hands on one!

If you don’t have access to fresh, organic figs then branch out and use another fruit. It all tastes good with a little dark chocolate

Serves 18

3 ounces dark chocolate, 72% cocoa

2 tablespoons coconut oil

18 Figs, fresh and ripe

Directions
1

Place the chocolate and coconut oil in a small saucepan and place in a skillet with an inch of water. Heat over medium, stirring often until smooth. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.

2

Wash the figs and cut off the tough stems. Prepare a large plate or tray by covering with parchment paper. Dip the figs in the chocolate and place on the prepared plate. Chill in the fridge for 10 minutes.

3

Dip a fork into the remaining melted chocolate and make drizzle lines across the chocolate covered figs. Return to the fridge to harden. Eat within a day or two. Enjoy!
