Amazing Savory Cashews
These nuts are crazy good. Perfect for mid-day snacking or chopped and thrown onto a salad. Make plenty, because these disappear quickly.
Here’s what you need:
- 9 cups raw cashews
- 2 cups Nama Shoyu (unpasteurized soy sauce)
- 5 cups water
- 1/4 cup garlic powder
- 1/4 cup onion powder
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- Place the cashews in a large bowl. Pour the Nama Shoyu and water over the nuts — all nuts should be submerged. Allow to soak overnight.
- Drain the nuts and mix in the remaining ingredients. Spread over dehydrator sheets and dry at 110 degrees until crunchy. (12-24 hrs)
