Amazing Savory Cashews

Pass the cashews, please. These things are so addicting!

These nuts are crazy good. Perfect for mid-day snacking or chopped and thrown onto a salad. Make plenty, because these disappear quickly.

Here’s what you need:

  • 9 cups raw cashews
  • 2 cups Nama Shoyu (unpasteurized soy sauce)
  • 5 cups water
  • 1/4 cup garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup onion powder
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  1. Place the cashews in a large bowl. Pour the Nama Shoyu and water over the nuts — all nuts should be submerged. Allow to soak overnight.
  2. Drain the nuts and mix in the remaining ingredients. Spread over dehydrator sheets and dry at 110 degrees until crunchy. (12-24 hrs)
