Green Power Smoothie 2.0
Since creating the Green Power Smoothie a few months ago my morning recipe has slowly evolved. I’ve reduced the sweetness and have increased the nutrient content — the result is a mouth-watering smoothie that will make your cells vibrate with green energy. The kids have gotten so used to drinking their green smoothie each morning that Chloe now comes running when she hears the blender, yelling, “I want my green snooozie!”
Amazing Savory Cashews
These nuts are crazy good. Perfect for mid-day snacking or chopped and thrown onto a salad. Make plenty, because these disappear quickly.
Peaches & Cream
This dessert requires very little preparation and tastes almost too good for words. It’s a great recipe to use while entertaining, since the peaches need to sit in the dehydrator for 4 hours–put them in before your dinner guests arrive and prepare the sauce and keep in the fridge until chow time. To serve simply plate the peach halves and top with a spoonful of sauce and a sprinkle of fresh ground cinnamon. Use the sweetest peaches you can find, ripe and in season for the best possible flavor.
Lemon-CornCake Waffle
Imagine a cross between cornbread and lemon bars…that’s what these vegan waffles taste like! Top them with strawberries for a delicious summer breakfast.
Oatmeal-Banana-Chocolate Chip Waffles
These waffles are a big hit with the kids – and I’m happy to know that each bite is packed with lots of vegan fiber! Make them anytime that your sweet tooth starts acting up in the morning.
