Raw ‘Refried Beans’
This is a crumbly filling for raw tortilla wraps, lettuce wraps or as a topping for salads, vegetable pastas or any other way you can think of to use it. My kids pull this out of the cupboard and eat it by the handful when I’m not looking. It’s just that good!
Here’s what you need:
- 1 1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds, soaked for 2 hours, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup sun dried tomatoes, soaked for 1 hour, drained and rinsed
- 1 Tablespoon miso
- 1 Tablespoon cumin
- 2 teaspoons cayenne
- 1 Tablespoon coriander
- 2 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon agave nectar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 Tablespoons water
- 3 green onions, chopped
- Throw everything into a food processor and blend until fully incorporated. Spread over 2 lined dehydrator trays.
- Dehydrate at 115 degrees for 10 hours.
