Raw Corn Chips
Who doesn’t enjoy a bowl of crunchy chips? These chips are made with only raw, wholesome ingredients and are dehydrated rather than fried. Dip them in salsa and curb your naughty cravings.
Here’s what you need:
- 2 cups golden flaxmeal (or take 2 cups whole golden flax seeds and grind in food processor)
- 2 cups raw corn kernels
- 2 cups filtered water
- 2 Tablespoons freshly ground red pepper
- 3 cloves garlic
- dash of sea salt
- lime juice, squeezed from one lime
- Throw all the ingredients into a food processor, blend until smooth. Spread over 4 lined dehydrator trays. Using a butter knife score each tray in half, half again, and then diagonally to create 8 large chips, for a total of 32 chips.
- Dehydrate at 115 degrees for 12 hours, or until crispy.
