Bun-less Veggie Burger
As much as I love sprouted grain buns, there are just some days that lighter is better. This is a fun way to prepare veggie burgers.
Here’s what you need:
- Butter lettuce leaves
- Sun-dried Tomato and Basil Hummus
- Organic Sunshine Burger patty
- Cucumber, sliced
- Tomato, sliced
- Avocado, sliced
- Fresh ground salt and pepper to taste
- Cook your frozen burger patties in a nonstick pan — no oil needed.
- On your plate layer a large lettuce leaf, sliced cucumber, a layer of hummus, veggie patty, another layer of hummus, a slice of tomato and avocado slices. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
