Savory Raw Wraps

Theses wraps really satisfy
I made these wraps as some kind of retribution the day after having a dinner of very bland thrown-together wraps. This recipe is anything but bland. Some raw food just doesn’t satisfy like regular cooked cuisine, but these wraps pack so much flavor and texture that you really do feel fully satisfied.
Here’s what you need:
For the savory sauce:
- Juice from 1/2 a lemon
- 1 inch piece ginger root, skin cut off
- 1 Tablespoon Tamari
- 1 cup raw almond butter
- 1 clove garlic
For the filling:
- 1/2 head purple cabbage, shredded
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1 head corn, kernels shaved off
- dash of sea salt
- 1/4 cup raw pine nuts
- 2 Tablespoons raw hemp seeds
For the wraps:
- Avocado slices
- Mango slices
- Large butter lettuce leaves
- Blend all of the sauce ingredients in a high speed blender. Place all of the filling ingredients into a large ziplock bag, then pour the sauce over it, and shake until fully incorporated.
- On each lettuce leaf place a scoop of filling, a slice of avocado and a slice of mango.
