Veegetarian Egg Replacement
When I first turned Veegetarian one of my biggest fears was that my days of baking were behind me. I must confess that I LOVE baking — coookies, muffins, breads, cakes…you name it and I’ll bake it for you.
As it turned out, Veegetarian baking is not only very possible, it is more delicious than anything I’d baked when using dairy and eggs.
One of the main ingredients used to bind baked goods together is traditionally eggs. This easy egg replacement recipe gets the job done, and also adds Omega-3 into the mix.
Here’s what you need to replace 1 egg:
- 1 Tablespoon Bob’s Red Mill Whole Ground Flaxseed Meal(or you can grind whole flax seeds)
- 3 Tablespoons water
- Whisk the flax meal and water together until frothy. You can use a fork or blend them in a mini food processor.

I use Bob's Red Mill Whole Ground Flaxseed Meal
