Oat Flour
Many of my recipes call for oat flour. It adds fiber, nutrional value and great flavor.
You have two options with oat flour, either purchase it ready-t0-go or grind oats yourself. I use both methods, depending on the recipe. When you grind the oats you can leave them more intact, adding fiber and heartiness.
Arrowhead Mills makes a fantastic organic Oat Flour that I use for recipes that do better with smooth flour.
Make your own Oat Flour:
- Measure the amount in Oats.
- Grind in a food proccessor to your desired consistency.
- Keep leftover oat flour in a ziplock bag in the fridge.

A mini food processor works great for making 1-2 cups of oat flour
